XIV Lisbon Summer Lectures in Geometry
2013-06-24 — 2013-06-26
The Summer Lectures in Geometry are a tradition at CAMGSD that attains in 2013 its 14th edition. Renowned mathematicians working in Geometry and related areas have lectured thematic courses in two or three session during a concentration week in the Summer period.
Mira Fernandes Lectures on Mathematical Relativity
2013-06-17 — 2013-06-20
The Mira Fernandes Lectures on Mathematical Relativity are meant as a tribute to Aureliano de Mira Fernandes, one of the first Portuguese mathematicians to take an interest in Einstein's General Theory of Relativity. They usually consist of a short course comprising three or four one hour sessions on a theme of interest to the group of CAMGSD researchers who work on Mathematical Relativity. The sessions are open to all interested.
The first lecture series features Hans Ringström from KTH talking On the stability and topology of the universe.

Annoucements concerning doctoral defenses can be inserted by identifying the student or (co)adviser as associated to CAMGSD in the DMIST doctoral defense edition interface. The latter possibility is still experimental.
